WHEN YOU PAY A DEPOSIT ON ANY OF OUR ANIMALS, YOU ARE AGREEING TO ALL THE TERMS AND POLICIES LISTED IN THIS DOCUMENT. The safety and happiness of our animals are of utmost importance. We reserve the right to refuse a sale to any person without obligation to disclose reasoning.
REHOMING POLICY The buyer is responsible for all care costs of animals purchased including, but not limited to, housing, feeding and veterinary care. However, if at any time you decide the animal is not a good fit for your home, the animal must be returned to Sugar Gliders R Us / Monkeys R Us at the buyer's expense. The buyer may not sell, gift, or rehome the animal to anyone else, unless the new owner is approved by us in writing. This policy is enforced to ensure our exotic animals will always have a good home and adequate care. Failure to comply can result in legal action.
72-HOUR HEALTH GUARANTEE All babies are guaranteed to be in good health and free of parasites, illness and disease at time of pickup or delivery. If you believe your new baby has parasites, illness or disease: • You must take him/her to a licensed veterinarian experienced with exotics within 72 hours of pickup/delivery • You must report the issue to us within the same 72-hour timeframe • A vet report written by a licensed veterinarian experienced with exotics stating that the animal was sold in ill condition must be forwarded to us for claims to be considered • Animals must be returned within 3 days of pickup/delivery date for this guarantee to be valid If the vet determines that the animal was sold in ill condition, we will offer either a replacement animal of equal value OR a refund at our sole discretion.
NECROPSY REQUIREMENT FOR DEATH CLAIMS: If an animal dies within the 72-hour guarantee period, a necropsy (autopsy) must be performed by a licensed veterinarian to determine cause of death. The necropsy report must state that the animal was sold in ill condition or had a pre-existing condition for any claim to be considered. Without a necropsy report, no claims will be honored. THIS HEALTH GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER: • Any injuries or medical conditions developing after the buyer picks up the animal • Animals shipped by a third-party transporter (we have no control over what happens during transport) • Once the animal has left our care, we make no guarantees of the animal's condition when it arrives • Any animal where our care guide instructions are not followed • Any animal fed a diet other than what we recommend or approve • Stress-related issues caused by improper acclimation

DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS All deposits must be arranged by phone with Kathy Woodson. Deposits cannot be placed through the website. Phone: _______________________________________ All deposits are nonrefundable and nontransferable. A nonrefundable deposit will be required to reserve the animal of your choice. The remaining balance will be due on the scheduled pickup date. You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase. Cancellations by the buyer will result in forfeiture of all deposits and payments. Disclosing any false information is grounds for forfeiture of all deposits and payments.
TAKING YOUR ANIMAL HOME Proof of proper habitat setup must be provided to and approved by us before an animal is released to you. NO EXCEPTIONS. Furthermore, 'ready by' dates are only approximations, as the animal must be a healthy weight and thriving independent of its parents before going to their new home.
LOCAL PICKUPS & GRACE PERIOD Pickup appointments must be scheduled in advance by calling Kathy Woodson. Please contact us immediately if you are going to be late. All animals reserved must be picked up within 7 days of their 'ready by' date (or 7 days after reservation if the animal is already ready), unless other arrangements are made in writing. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of all deposits, and the animal will be re-listed as available.

Delivery arrangements cannot be made through the website. Phone: _______________________________________ Live animals are shipped via USDA-approved carriers. Shipping dates are subject to weather conditions and carrier availability. We reserve the right to delay shipment if weather poses a risk to the animal's health.
PLEASE NOTE: The buyer must understand that we have no control over what happens to the animal during transport. Once the animal has left our care, we make no guarantees of the animal's condition when it arrives. It is the buyer's responsibility to insure any animal throughout transport, if desired. We prefer all buyers to pick up in person. If the buyer chooses transport, it is at the buyer's own risk.
NO RETURNS All sales are final. Deposits, boarding fees, shipping charges, and vet fees are nonrefundable, as well as supplies and food purchases. To ensure the well-being of our animals, if you decide that an animal is not the right fit for your family or lifestyle, we will gladly accept surrenders so that we may find an appropriate new home for them. The animal must be returned to us at the buyer's expense and must be in good health and condition.
BREEDING POLICY When purchasing an animal from us as 'pet only', breeding the animal is strictly forbidden. Breeding is considered a breach of policy and is grounds for legal action. Only USDA licensed breeders with an established business relationship with us may inquire about animals for breeding purposes. Animals may not be resold or gifted for breeding purposes without our explicit written permission.
DEAD ON ARRIVAL (DOA) POLICY If an animal arrives deceased due to shipping circumstances, contact us within 2 hours of delivery with photo documentation. DOA claims will be reviewed and may result in a replacement or refund at our sole discretion. A necropsy may be required.
SUPPLIES & ACCESSORIES Non-live merchandise may be returned within 14 days of purchase if unused and in original packaging. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. A 15% restocking fee may apply. Non-Returnable: Opened food/supplements, custom items, clearance items marked 'Final Sale'.
